Job Description:

Solarix is seeking a skilled Solar Installation Engineer to join our engineering team and support the delivery of residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems while ensuring every project meets Solarix quality, safety, and performance standards.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of solar systems, electrical components, and hands-on installation experience.

Responsibilty

Solar System Installation

Install solar PV panels, mounting structures, inverters, batteries, and related electrical components.
Perform electrical wiring, connections, testing, and commissioning of solar systems.
Ensure installations follow approved designs and technical specifications.
Conduct site assessments before installation activities.

Testing & Troubleshooting

Diagnose faults in solar panels, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems.
Perform system testing to confirm proper operation.
Resolve technical issues during installation and maintenance.

Quality & Safety

Follow electrical safety procedures and installation standards.
Ensure all installations meet company quality requirements.
Maintain accurate installation reports and documentation.

Customer Support

Explain system operation to customers after installation.
Provide technical support when required.

Requirements

Degree, HND, or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field.
Experience installing solar PV systems.
Knowledge of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems.
Understanding of electrical wiring and safety practices.
Ability to work on-site and travel when required.
